Trillium Staffing is hiring Medical Billing Clerks. Responsibilities will include managing patient billing while working regularly with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance websites.

Primary duties will include:
•Communicate with patients and insurance companies regarding patient bills.
•Manage and process payments for medical treatments.
•Maintain knowledge and compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
•Collect guarantors’ co-payments, co-insurance, estimates, outstanding balances, and deductibles.
•Contact payors to verify insurance eligibility, when applicable.
•Maintain appropriate documentation of information required by the company.
•Assist guarantor with billing questions and ensure proper resolution of problems.

Medical Billing Clerks will work first shift hours, 8am-4:30pm, Monday – Friday. Pay ranges from $17-$21/hour, based on experience. Positions are full time and temp-to-hire. Upon company hire, client offers medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as 401(k) and paid time off.

Qualifications
•High School diploma or GED
•Hospital or clinic billing experience required
•Accounts receivable and collections experience required
•Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance forms and websites
